Dayo Olomu who is a study in doggedness and an example of how anyone can overcome adversity to succeed and thus become an inspiration to others is a successful social entrepreneur, business improvement consultant, winning strategist, HR leadership and management trainer, executive coach and a motivational speaker. He is also the best selling author of “4 Indispensable Strategies for Success” and audio programme, “You Got The Power” which was sent to more than 180 countries in 2008 by the top international companies in the world of personal development education and business consultancy. Dayo is the first speaker and author of African origin in Europe to achieve this feat he was voted as the Best Motivational Speaker and Best MC of the Year in UK in 2009.

His background spans over 20 years in coaching, speaking, training, personal development, media / PR, organisational strategy, publishing and the entertainment business. The experience he brings to people over the last 10 years has led him to discover that if we help people to see themselves as they can be, not as they are; then the way they think, the way they feel and the way they act will eventually be altered, thereby resulting in higher performance.

Dayo studied Business and Industrial Law at University of Lagos and later graduated with honours from the University of East London with a degree in Business Information Systems and studied Coaching at Newcastle College. He went to University of Greenwich for his post graduate studies.

Dayo, the former CEO & Editor-in-chief of M&M Magazine; is the founding President of Croydon Communicators: Public Speaking & Leadership Training; President of African Personal Development Forum and committee member, Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, (CIPD) South London Branch.

In 2007 he completed the Flora London Marathon to raise money and create awareness for Leukaemia and on 13 April 2008 he completed the Flora London Marathon again to create awareness and raise funds for Hearts of Gold Children’s Hospice, the first children’s hospice and respite care facility in Nigeria. In March 2010, Dayo completed the Fleet Half Marathon to create awareness and raise funds for Wish for Africa. He enjoys mountain climbing, fire walking, forest walking, glass breaking, running the marathon and most importantly making a difference.

Dayo and his wife, Sade who recently set up The Dayo & Sade Olomu Foundation dedicated to less privilege and physically challenged children reside in Surrey, United Kingdom
